Bibikas Lift is committed to absolute safety in every project. As a culmination of this commitment, our partner Antonios FLOROS successfully completed the demanding Safe Work at Height Certification program by the specialized company Enaeritis.

The training program included a Theoretical and Practical part. At the end, our technician successfully completed the assessment process, which included a written knowledge exam and a practical skills exam, and was deemed competent to work safely.

This training ensures that our technicians are fully capable of managing fall risks during elevator installation and maintenance work in any environment.

Full Preparedness for Every Work Scenario

Our technician was appropriately trained and deemed competent to work safely:

  • On roofs and platforms without protective guardrails.
  • On portable ladders and scaffolding.
  • On motorized mobile elevating work platforms (MEWPs).
  • On permanent vertical ladders.

The training focused on the use of appropriate personal protective equipment (such as EN 361 fall arrest harnesses, EN 795 anchoring systems, and fall arresters).

The Critical Stage: Emergency Rescue

One of the most important aspects of the training was the focus on colleague rescue, a critical scenario during work at height or within an elevator shaft. Our technician was certified in rescuing a colleague in case of emergency.

The practical part included:

  • Rescue Techniques: Training in rescue through lifting and lowering.
  • Specialized Equipment: Use of an automatic escape descent device with a rescue winch.

Depth of Knowledge: From Legislation to Suspension Trauma

The 1-day program fully covered theoretical and practical knowledge, ensuring that our team operates with full awareness of risks and standards:

  • Theory: Instruction on work at height legislation, fall risk assessment, industrial accident analysis, as well as the recognition of Suspension Trauma (orthostatic shock).
  • Equipment Inspection: Emphasis was placed on the inspection, maintenance, and storage of equipment, as well as its durability according to standards (e.g., EN 361, EN 795).

Bibikas Lift confirms its commitment to providing the safest and most reliable elevator services, thanks to its highly trained and certified personnel.
